Marek Hemmann will release his debut full-length for Freude Am Tanzen, the imprint's first artist album, in October.
Hemmann sometimes makes tracks with good friend
Mathias Kaden as Hemmann & Kaden, but both will go solo later this year. Kaden,
as previously reported, drops his debut album on Vakant later this month, while Hemmann will go with Jena's own Freude Am Tanzen. The label's press release tells us that Hemmann will rarely stay in one place on the effort, claiming that it's an "eclectic house-world, which in every corner offers a new discovery." And, from what we've heard, that's the case: Deep house, minimal, dub and even touches of world music enter into the mix over the course of its hour-plus length with the sax-driven "Gemini" our early favourite.
