Freude Am Tanzen head to Berlin

- The Jena-based label will head north for a show at Watergate, featuring performances from Kadebostan, Monkey Maffia and Hemmann & Kaden.
- Freude Am Tanzen are set to host their first Berlin showcase of '09 on Saturday October 24th. Last year's bash saw the Jena-based label take over Panorama Bar, yet this month's party at Watergate will feature a wider selection of their roster, spread out over the venue's two floors. Emotional ethnic house producer Kadebostan will showcase material new and old with his live show, while Marek Hemmann and Mathias Kaden will also team up for a live laptop showdown, which is likely to highlight the more minimal tendencies of both artists. There's also plenty of DJing talent present for those who like their clubbing kicks administered in a more traditional fashion, with dubwise house and techno head Daniel Stefanik, funky minimalist Douglas Greed, and rolling house duo Taron-Trekka all set to show off the variety of the label's roster. Wighnomy Brothers fans should also be pleased to hear that Monkey Maffia will be making a rare solo appearance without his regular deck partner Robag Wruhme.
