Mannheim's Time Warp festival will return to Rotterdam for their second large Dutch event of 2009 this December.
As with last year's bash, the Rotterdam edition of Time Warp will take place in the city's Maassilo warehouse, spanning five rooms of cutting edge house and techno. Cocoon boss and Time Warp regular
Sven Vath will take the honour of headlining the main room, and he'll be joined behind the decks by
James Holden and
Michel De Hey as well as fellow Cocooner
Karotte. There's a heavy presence of German artists on the rest of the bill, with
Loco Dice,
Daniel Stefanik,
Marek Hemmann and
Nekes all being selected to go west for the weekend, while
Chris Liebing is scheduled to play head-to-head with Dutch techno hero
Speedy J as part of the latter's Collabs project.
Darko Esser,
Daniel Sanchez,
Sandeep,
Dennis Ruyer,
DJ Remy and
Secret Cinema will ensure that the Dutch scene is well represented, and Plus 8 and Minus fans should be happy to hear that
Marco Carola,
Gaiser and
Click Box will all play sets in the upstairs area.
Travellers from the UK should note that Lost Souls are organising the official coach trip from London, with packaged deals including transport now available for purchase from
www.timewarpuk.com.
