Chez Damier is set to embark on a mini-European tour, commencing in France on Friday.
Damier (real name Anthony Pearson) will headline Plastic Records' release party at Paris' Nouveau Casino this Friday night, before jetting over to Berlin for his debut gig at Tape. Panorama Bar and Watergate may already be crossed off his list, but the deep house-friendly nature of Tape should ensure an electric atmosphere when the Chicago legend takes to the decks. Mush, who was recently remixed by Damier, will also appear alongside saxophonist Daniel Brothier, while ~scape doyenne
Barbara Preisinger will look after the rest of the evening.
Damier will stay in Germany for the next week, following up the Tape performance with his debut show in Mannheim the following Saturday at Theodor Noise. Finally, Friday 16th October will see the Rush Hour crew bring him over to Amsterdam's much-lauded Trouw venue for their Disco3000 party. Confusingly enough, the party isn't linked to
Trus'me's similarly titled event, but his good friend and Prime Numbers signing
Linkwood will also make an appearance behind the decks.
