Omar-S to headline Star Spangled

- The FXHE boss will descend on London's East Village later this month for a three-hour set.
- Omar-S will return to London's East Village for the second time later this month. The FXHE label head will get behind the decks for three hours, bringing the Detroit style across the Atlantic for a new night called Star Spangled. It's titled as such due to all of its headliners being from the USA, and more American acts have already been penciled in for this in-house promotion. East Village regular Stuart Patterson will act as Star Spangled's resident DJ, and he's lined up a supporting cast for the basement that includes Bugz in the Attic's Orin Walters as well as Faith writer and resident Jimmy P. We're told to expect "warm techno and deep house" from the London contingent, but you can be sure that Omar will be taking things a little rougher and rawer once he hits the decks. His performance at the venue last year was one of their most popular nights, so organisers are urging eager fans to attend early to ensure a spot on the dance floor.
