Laurent Garnier's acclaimed live show will come to Italy next month at the Club to Club festival.

The Torino-based event has been pushing forward-thinking electronic music in the city for eight years now. Taking place over the course of the first weekend in November, Club To Club will be spread out over eight main venues, with RA taking over the Supermarket club on the Friday night.

The long, hall-sized space will host the Torino debut of Laurent Garnier's new live band, a six-piece outfit complete with horn section, playing tunes from his recent Tales of a Kleptomaniac full-length as well as cherry-picking tracks from Garnier's long and illustrious back catalogue.

Attendees looking for a more traditional techno fix should look no further than Ángel Molina, who has been wowing Spanish clubbers with his selection and technique since the early '90s. (He's even released two compilations for Sónar festival's SónarMusic label, with the most recent one seeing him adopting new technology to loop and edit tracks on the fly.) Rounding things off is Washington-based Dutchman Martyn, who'll be returning to Europe for a brief tour. The deep dubstepper has enjoyed a successful year after his debut album, Great Lengths, was well received by press and fans alike, and he'll be on hand to mix things up between house, techno, funky, dubstep, UK garage and whatever else he feels will get the Torino crowd moving. 3 Comments
