BPM Festival have announced details of the third edition of their annual event, which will take place between January 1st and January 10th 2010.
The organizers behind the 10-day festival are keen to push the 'fun in the sun' angle upon prospective attendees—and who can blame them? Taking place once again in Playa Del Carmen, a "spectacular" resort town on Mexico's Caribbean coast, BPM bases its appeal on a string of daytime beach parties, leading into nighttime soirees with heavy-hitting international DJ talent supplying the sounds. Confirmed hitherto are UK house jock
Steve Lawler, Sci-Tec boss
Dubfire, Israeli DJ/producer/live act
Guy Gerber and Mannheim dudes
Nick Curly and
Johnny D, with further additions filtering through in the coming weeks. There'll also be plenty of more mainstream acts to chew on as well, as
Steve Angello,
Sander Kleinenberg and Hed Kandi will all be making their way beach-side.
