Thomas Hammann and Gerd Janson mix for Robert Johnson

The duo behind the Liquid night are next in line for the Frankfurt club's mix series.

Thomas Hammann and Gerd Janson are next in line for Robert-Johnson's mix series.

The mix follows in the wake of efforts by bigger names: Chloe, Prins Thomas and Ivan Smagghe. But Hammann and Janson are also RJ regulars: They run the Liquid night at the famed Frankfurt club, often bringing in DJs who fall toward the softer side of the house spectrum. (Their most recent guest was Mark E.) The focus, though, is just as often on Hammann and Janson themselves, two DJs who believe strongly in the power of house, as evidenced by the material released on Janson's Running Back imprint. And judging by the tracklisting, which includes Chez Damier, Kenny Dope and DJ Duke, that's exactly what you're going to get.

Tracklist
01. Juicy Fruit - Liferaft (Original Mix)
02. DJ Du Jour - A Fish Scene
03. Lontano - Lovebass
04. Fresh Tunes#2 - W.B.W.U.
05. Dr. Nobody - The Big Bang Theory (Stephan G & ThePersuader Remix)
06. Azymuth - Jazz Carnival (Global Communication's Space Jazz Mix)
07. Chez Damier - Take It Away A (KMS 049)
08. Chez Damier - Take It Away B2 (KMS 049)
09. JohnNick Presents Red Hook - Dreams Your Love (Kenny Dope's Remix)
10. Soundstream - Makin' Love
11. DJ Duke - Can You Feel It
12. Radio Slave - Tantakatan
13. DNTEL - (This Is) The Dream Of Evan And Chan (Superpitcher Kompakt Remix)
