Snowbombing announce 2010 plans

Vitalic, James Zabiela, Ewan Pearson, Adam Beyer and The Revenge will all play at next year's edition of the Austrian festival.

Snowbombing have revealed the initial acts that will be playing at next April's event in Mayrhofen.

The festival, which will take place from April 5th to April 10th, has always tried to appeal to a diverse spread of music lovers and this line-up is no different, with techno, electro house, drum & bass, disco and dubstep all featuring. As far as live performances go, the focus is on the rock side of things with Editors, Doves and Friendly Fires topping the bill. The jewel in the electronic crown, however, will be Vitalic's set, which should draw heavily on material from this year's Flashmob LP while including classic tracks such as his breakthrough hit "La Rock 01."

Most of the dance music action is going on behind the decks, however, with Brodinski, Kris Menace, Riva Starr, Jack Beats and Fake Blood will also be bringing their own variants on the electro house template, while The Revenge and Disco Bloodbath will make their debuts at the festival alongside Snowbombing stalwarts Todd Terje and Greg Wilson. Tayo, Scratch Perverts and Alix Perez will offer an alternative for bass hungry revellers, while Ewan Pearson, Sasse, Slam and Adam Beyer will cater to the more house and techno savvy of the crowd.

Of course, with it being Snowbombing, it isn't just about the music. You could always grab yourself a ski pass and hit the slopes of Mayrhofen over the course of the week, and there'll be plenty of other activities culminating in a huge fancy dress street party, which always promises to be one of the highlights of the festival. comment 15 Comments
