German producer Pawel has announced plans for his self-titled debut LP.

Slow and steady wins the race. It's a mantra that could certainly be applied to Dial's Paul Komenik under his Pawel guise. His inaugural full effort for said imprint arose back in 2001, which has been followed by a trickle of carefully crafted releases (seven by our reckoning) through Dial and his own Orphanear imprint. It should come as no surprise then, that despite the album offering up ten previously unreleased tracks, the small print on the disc states a production period of 2004—2008. And, interestingly, Dial have chosen to put out the LP exactly ten years after his first release on the very first Dial 12-inch.

As for the music contained within, Komenik's vocal capabilities have hitherto been reserved for his slightly more industrious Turner moniker and live performances, but Pawel makes an exception to the rule. He lends his voice to a number of the release's cuts. Fans of the Pawel discography should expect more of the same shimmering house vibes, with a few more reflective passages connecting the dots.
