  • Levon Vincent is set to take the top spot at Süd Electronic annual Christmas party. For the last four years, Lerato Khathi (AKA Lakuti) and her band of merry men have hosted the Dial imprint at their Christmas bash, but that's set to change this year with a totally fresh batch of guests. 2009 has been the year that Levon Vincent's life has changed dramatically, rising to underground dance music hero in an alarmingly short space of time. He spent much of the year holed up in Indiana producing new material, and it's likely that the assembled Süd crowd will be treated with a bunch of his new material when he comes out of hibernation for the party on Saturday 12th December. Also making his Süd Electronic debut will be Metrolux Music boss Kosta Athanassiadis (AKA XDB), who's been kicking out dubwise techno and house on Sistrum and Deep Space as well as his own label over the past few years. Athanassiadis is capable of playing live, but he'll be taking control of the Technics for next month's set, with Lakuti rounding off the DJing triple-header. Süd are well known for using a raft of different venues across the city, and for this one they'll be utilising The Camp—an art and music space in the heart of Shoreditch that also housed their Halloween party with Lawrence, Lowtec and Julius Steinhoff. Tickets for Süd Electronic's Yuletide Knees Up are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.
