Hyperdub take over Corsica

- We Fear Silence have teamed up with Kode9 and his crew for a double-roomed party in London this weekend.
- Kode9 and Spaceape will headline the Hyperdub anniversary showcase in London this Saturday. Steve Goodman's label have recently commemorated five successful years of operation with a double-disc collection, but the Hyperdub crew have yet to celebrate this milestone on their home turf. That's all set to change with this weekend's bash at Corsica Studios, which sees the label's London-based artists come together for seven hours of forward-thinking bass pressure. Corsica's main room will host all three of the evening's live performances, with Kode9 and Spaceape no doubt showcasing some in-progress works from their upcoming album, Darkstar finally unveiling their live show and Roger Robinson and The Bug teaming up for their dub and lovers rock-infused King Midas Sound project. LV will also be demonstrating his heavily reggae-influenced sound behind the main room's decks, accompanied by Ikonika, LD and Hyperdub's UK house doyenne, Cooly G. Room two is no less appetising, however, with Kode9 taking to the Technics to spin a rare extended set. Expect him to traverse UK funky, dubstep, instrumental hip-hop and maybe even a bit of jungle throughout his three-hour slot, while fans of more traditional dubstep should be appeased by the appearance of Digital Mystikz's Mala.
