2 Many DJs and
LCD Soundsystem are set to headline the Rhythm and Vines festival, New Zealand's largest New Year's Eve celebration.
As always, the event has a sizeable electronic proportion, many of which call Australia home.
The Juan Maclean,
Moby,
Krafty Kuts and
Major Lazer are some of the additional international representatives, while Aussies set to make the trip across the Tasman include the
Bang Gang DJs,
Bag Raiders and
Pnau offshoot Empire of the Sun. The event will also see New Zealand-born DJ
Emerson Todd return to his native country, briefly arriving back in the southern hemisphere for his first Australasian visit since moving to London earlier this year. Rhythm and Vines will kick off on December 29th, taking place in Gisborne's Waiohika Estate Vineyard over the course of three days.
