- The Cologne producer will take an electro-rock direction for his sophomore artist album, which is due for release in February.
Sharam Jey has finally finished work on his second album, which is due for release early next year.
As with his 2005 effort 4 Da Loverz, Jey has enlisted a selection of guest vocalists to help him flesh out his productions, with Princess Superstar, Swedish chanteuse Cornelia, Tommie Sunshine and Torpedo vocalist Andreas Hogby all appearing. However, it seems like Jey found a favourite in Lost Valentinos singer Nik Valentino, with the Australian giving a New Romantic sheen to three of the album's thirteen tracks. The new record goes by the title In My Blood, and sees Jey fully integrate rock dynamics into his electro-house sound. Expect buzzing riffs, sampled disco drums, lo-fi arpeggios and plenty of nods to '80s sound aesthetics when the album drops in February.
