  • Ben Klock will make his first ever Scottish DJing appearance at Glasgow's Sub Club next Monday. The party will be hosted by the city's Animal Farm night, who have now moved to the much-lauded Sub Club after more than three years of putting on events at the Soundhaus. The promoters have made it clear that they want to make their mark with their bash at the venue, and there are few better ways to do that than with a debut Scottish performance of one of the hottest techno DJs around. 2009 has certainly been a banner year for Klock, with the Berliner jumping up 23 places to take the #17 slot in our Top DJs of 2009 poll, while his debut full-length also scored very highly with our contributors in our albums poll. The inaugural Animal Farm at the Sub will also serve as Klock's final gig of the year, and although he'll be returning to his Berghain residency on the morning of New Year's Day, you can be sure that he'll have a mean selection of rolling techno beats to cap his first venture north of the English border.
