Four albums originally put out between 1989 and 1993 are to be re-released by collector's label Salvo.
Four albums by seminal Madchester outfit 808 State are to be remastered and reissued as deluxe editions in March.
The acid house group rose to rave prominence on the back of their 1989 anthem "Pacific State," and although their last album was released eight years ago, they are still very active on the touring and DJ circuit.
Each of the four remastered album packages—808:90, ex:el, Gorgeous and Don Solaris—contains additional liner notes, expanded and restored artwork, and a bonus disc of rare and previously unreleased tracks compiled by 808 State founder Graham Massey.
1989's 808:90 album includes the original "Pacific 202" version of their best-known track plus an additional Britmix version, and 1991's ex:el includes collaborations with New Order's Bernard Sumner and Björk. 1993's Gorgeous features the band's crossover pop hit "One in Ten" (as 808 State vs. UB40) and Joy Division mash-up "Contrique," and 1996's Don Solaris includes a rare Brian Eno remix.
