  • Secretsundaze co-founder James Priestley will host the first of his latest party series tomorrow night. After throwing a number of successful nights under the Go!Zilla banner, Priestley decided that he needed a new challenge, and went about opening The City Arts & Music Project (CAMP) in the heart of Shoreditch. Unlike most clubs in the city, The CAMP opens its doors at 7 PM and closes at 1 AM, but that doesn't stop them from throwing parties every weekend, which are all programmed by Priestley himself. James has yet to step behind the decks so far, but that will change with his One For Me, One For You bash this Friday. Speaking about the new theme of the party, Priestley states that, "As the name suggests, it's a chance to play records and music I love that I don't always get a chance to, but of course at the same time, not being totally self-indulgent; one for me, one for you. So expect anything from jazz to power ballads as well as a healthy helping of slo-mo house & disco grooves, with a definite soul emphasis. Don't come expecting any Berghain tackle that's for sure..." Berghain fare certainly isn't going to be on the menu for his first headliner, as Midlands-based disco and house head Mark E will be there to spin a few of his current favourites. The bash finishes at 1 AM, so we'd recommend that potential punters head down fairly early to make the most of the night.
