- The Dutch producer's second album will see a release next month.
Dutch electronic artist Pascal Terstappen, AKA Applescal, will release A Mishmash of Changing Moods next month on Traum.
The record will follow up 2009's A Slave Commitment, an album that earned Applescal praise from DJ Hell, Laurent Garnier and Berlin-based magazine De:Bug, who were smitten enough to call the 22-year-old producer one of 2010's breakthrough artists. Following that album's completion, Terstappen wasted no time in returning to his "cave-like" studio and getting started on A Mishmash of Changing Moods. The result, as its title suggests, is a stylistically diverse and somewhat chaotic piece of work. It will be Applescal's seventh release overall, and his second full-length in less than two years.
