Optimo to tour Australia

- The Glaswegian duo will play four Australian dates next month, including a show at the Golden Plains Festival.
- Glasgow-based duo Optimo will head to Australia next month for three club shows and a festival appearance. Optimo are known for their strange ability to blend house and techno with left-field punk and experimental tracks, both in their edits and DJ sets. For instance, their 2007 mix CD Walkabout collected tracks by Herbert, Marc Houle and Thomas Brinkmann, as well as avant-garde acts like Black Dice, Throbbing Gristle and Suicide. Their mini-tour will consist of four dates across Australia, including parties in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, plus an appearance at the Golden Plains Festival.
