"Parks and Wilson" will be headlining Peace Fridays at Seven on Friday April 5.
”Parks and Wilson need no real introduction- but for those who need it - perhaps it is best to say that Mick Parks and Mick Wilson are responsible for a large chunk of the best progressive house tunes released over the past five years .Whether it be their work as Tilt or more recently on their own production and remix work there’s no doubt that their reputation is rarely matched across the entire progressive house scene working week in, week out in some of the finest clubs in the world as well as festivals and events which are attracting up to 50,000+ people at a time. Last year they rocked the radio 1 essential mix arena at homelands and took part in the massive no-ufo’s party at berlin’s very large love parade! they have in fact also been asked to produce a tune for no-ufo’s this year to coincide with said festival, they will also play homelands england in the summer in the radio 1 arena once again. A Parks and Wilson set will take you on a journey. a session that you will leave you with a restored faith in music and clubland!.....their blend of progressive and deep grooves will most certainly blow your mind.”
Parks and Wilson are brilliant and are indeed one of the few global progressive house producers who are making music within the true sense of progressive – music that breaks new boundaries. Labelling them as progressive wouldn’t be fair though as their style cross a vast array of boundaries and live they are a joy to listen to.
