The new Sydney party will host the DJ later this month.
Tech house DJ and producer Nima Gorji is set to headline Tribalism's Sydney debut, headlining the emerging party's inaugural bash at the Civic Underground.
With a grounding in all modes of house, Tribalism – as the name suggests – will primarily feature DJs with a distinct tribal influence, seeing the Civic Underground regularly take on a specific tribal theme with each event. To compliment Gorji's distinct tribal-infused debut, the upcoming March party will feature live performances and face painting, taking cue from Ibiza's The Zoo Project, which Gorji headlined in July last year.
The first event's headliner, Gorji, has spent most of his career planted firmly within the tech house spectrum. Since relocating to Ibiza in 2005, a strong jazz and tribal influence has become a prominent characteristic of both Gorji's DJ sets and productions, and will surely feature in his four-hour extended Sydney set.
