  • Kassem Mosse will make his second appearance at Manchester's meandyou. party on Friday April 9th. The German producer has kept a fairly low profile over the past few years, but it's his sublime mix of minimalism, techno, electro and deep house on labels such as Workshop, Laid, and Mikrodisco that have been doing all the talking. The party at the The Soup Kitchen will only be his third UK gig, and as with his previous appearance at meandyou.'s Workshop showcase, Mosse will again play live. Of that particular performance, RA's Ben Thomson commented that he "showed huge diversity in his set which was never devoid of intoxication," so revellers who missed out first time around should expect Mosse's wide-ranging production remit to extend to the dance floor. The bash will also welcome Pendle Coven's Miles Whittaker and Andy Stott under their respective Millie and Andrea pseudonyms. The pair have been using Modern Love subsidiary Daphne to unveil their dubstep and hardcore-tinged techno material, and they'll come together for a collaborative live set on the night that should explore the darker and more rave-influenced side of their sound. Support will come from meandyou. resident Joseph. Tickets for this meandyou. event can currently be purchased via RA Tickets.
