The Motor City jock will head to Sydney in mid-April.
In addition to his recently announced date at Melbourne's Prince Bandroom, Detroit techno figurehead Derrick May is set to play a Sydney slot hosted by Picnic.
May is by no means a stranger to Australian crowds, having visited the country a number of times throughout the past decade. Over the years, the Michigan native has played a variety of gigs, ranging from last-minute warehouse parties to large-scale festival appearances. This time around Sydney punters can expect a five-hour set from May on 202 Broadway's newly installed Funktion One sound system. Local support on the night will be provided by Mad Racket resident Simon Caldwell.
Tickets to both the Sydney and Melbourne legs of May's Australian tour are available through RA Tickets.
