- In celebration of their six-year anniversary, Basic NYC has booked Detroit icon Carl Craig at the Sullivan Room. Since 2004, the New York-based team has brought dozens of big names in house and techno to Manhattan, including luminaries like Derrick May, Green Velvet and Josh Wink to name a few. Their anniversary party will be Craig's debut at The Sullivan Room, and he'll be laying down a special extended set to mark the occasion. Craig is known to be pretty unpredictable behind the decks, but if you're looking for a hint of what the party holds in store, we recommend revisiting RA's 200th Podcast. In the weeks ahead, Basic NYC will host parties featuring Nic Fanciulli, Stacey Pullen, and the legendary Jeff Mills, who will be returning for his second appearance at the party in less than a year.
