Michael Mayer, Kenny Larkin, Optimo and DJ Koze are among the DJs booked for Brooklyn's electronic garden party.
Sunday Best have announced their schedule for summer of 2010, with 15 afternoon soirees penned in between the end of May and the beginning of September.
The series kicks off on May 30th with a set by Michael Mayer, just two weeks before the release of his highly anticipated Immer 3 mix on Kompakt. Highlights throughout the season include DJ Koze, Fred P, Linkwood and Detroit luminary Kenny Larkin. Glaswegian selectors Optimo will grace the decks in August, as will classic house maven Prosumer, who often takes a Sunday afternoon shift at Panorama Bar in Berlin. RA's got a little shindig lined up as well, featuring Eglo Records artist Floating Points.
As in previous years, Sunday Best will take place at The Yard, a shrubby outdoor venue nestled beside the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn. In addition the guests, the events will feature resident DJs Eamon Harkin, Justin Carter and Doug Singer, all of whom will headline the closing party during Labor Day weekend. If this summer is anything like the last, you can expect delicious cuisine, vats of sangria and a thoroughly laid back atmosphere to match illustrious list of performers.
