Actress, Oni Ayhun and the Moritz von Oswald Trio have all been billed for the horror-themed festival in Krakow.
Unsound have begun revealing plans for this year's festival in Krakow, Poland.
Only a few artists have been confirmed so far, all of whom fit Unsound's signature style of modern, forward-thinking music. The Moritz Von Oswald Trio will play live, following their debut earlier this year at Unsound New York. Murky beat scientist Actress will perform as well, along with Shackleton and the theatrically mysterious Oni Ayhun.
The overarching theme of Unsound 2010 is "HORROR - the pleasure of fear and unease," a motif that will be supported by panels, installations and musical performances. French synth duo Zombie Zombie will play the soundtracks of John Carpenter, and Belgian theater collective Abattoir Ferme will perform "The Pretty One," a presentation that combines elements of film, concert and stage performance to tell the story of Leslie Van Houten, a former member of the infamous Manson Family. UK-based label Mordant Music will bring their so-called Nesst, an audio-visual installation made of wood, bed sheets and concrete that will loop audio and visuals for the duration of the festival.
