- Hotflush will release the post-dubstep duo's debut album this summer.
- Mount Kimbie are set to release their first artist album, Crooks & Lovers. Since their debut just over a year ago, Dominic Maker and Kai Campos have become one of dubstep's most hotly tipped acts, though they hardly fit the mold that title implies. On the two 12-inches they've released so far, their sound is lush, moody and unbound to any particular tempo or rhythm type, though the lurching motion of their music makes them a perfect fit for Scuba's Hotflush Recordings. Boasting 11 previously unreleased tracks, Crooks & Lovers will more than double the group's body of work. In support of the album, Mount Kimbie will play a series of live shows around Europe and the UK this summer, including gigs at Les Siestes Electroniques in France, Sub:Stance at Berghain and 10 Days Off in Belgium.
