Mysteryland announces its 2010 lineup

- Luciano, Speedy J, Boys Noize and Tiesto are among the artists booked for this year's Dutch mega-festival.
- Mysteryland, The Netherlands' oldest and largest dance festival, have released details for their 2010 event. Billing itself as "the Glastonbury of dance," Mysterland spoils its patrons with an enormous number of acts playing across 20 themed stages. With almost too many to mention, there's a dizzying variety of sounds on offer as well as plenty to suit the harder tastes with which the festival originally started. The main outdoor area will feature live sets from Tiefschwarz and Axwell while Luciano brings the Cadenza sound to his very own stage with Mirko Loko, Rhadoo and Guy Gerber. Bouncy electro will feature at the Boys Noize stage, courtesy of Erol Alkan. Performing on his home turf Tiesto should prove particularly popular with a four-hour set of epic stadium trance on the Kaleidoscope stage. Those looking for something a little more twisted can check out Luke Slater at the Electric Deluxe stage, performing live as Planetary Assault Systems, with Speedy J and Chris Liebing keeping the tempo up. Otherwise, it seems like almost every single type of hard subgenre you could imagine is covered somewhere over on the other 16 stages, with mostly local talent filling out the rosters. RA's Todd L. Burns described last year's event as "a parallel universe" in his review, so expect all stops to be pulled out decoration-wise, with fantastical set designs, immense soundsystems and general down-the-rabbit-hole type shenanigans.
