Pioneer's Rekordbox, developed in partnership with MixVibes, is now available as a free download. CDJ-900/CDJ-2000 decks, the program is designed, at its most basic level, to organise a DJ's music library. Additional analytical features such as BPM counter, waveform data, and custom functions like tag info, hot cues, cue points, and loops are what Pioneer are hoping will convince DJs to adopt the software—if, of course, they own these new CDJ models or are at least planning to play out on them. 7 Comments
