  • Along with hotel rooftops, poolside decks and nightclubs of all sizes, off-Sonar parties are known to take place at sea, and this year is no exception. Four extended cruises have been scheduled on the X-clusive Boat, a fully kitted out three-hulled vessel, presented by Undrez & Proyectual. Each of the parties will be curated by a different label or promoter. Berlin tech house imprints Mobilee and BPitch Control each have their own event, with Guy Gerber, Pan-Pot and Anja Schneider representing the former and Ellen Allien, Sascha Funke and Seth Troxler spinning for the latter. London Sunday night party Wetyourself take the helm on Friday, with Miss Kittin, Martinez and residents Peter Pixzel and Jacob Husley in tow. German promoters Playula & Wilde set sail on Sunday afternoon, with a lineup boasting Tiefschwarz, M.A.N.D.Y., Inxec, Heidi, Matt Tolfrey and many more. The parties last around eight hours each, pushing off from Port Forum at 14:00 and returning that night just after sunset. At 75 Euro a pop, entrance may seem a little steep, but the ticket price includes food, three drinks, a T-shirt, sunglasses and a gaggle of other party favors, not to mention a breezy dance party on the Mediterranean. Advance tickets for all four parties can be had at the event pages linked below. The boat only holds 250 people, so expect these to get snapped up fast.
