Kate Simko has also been billed for this summer's 12-hour techno barbecue in Chicago.
Globe-trotting house and techno DJ Lee Burridge has been booked for Varsity Allstars, Chicago's annual early summer soiree.
Having featured Cassy, Anja Schneider and Adultnapper at past events, Varsity Allstars has become a staple of the Windy City's clubbing calendar. This year's party is once again scheduled at Moretti's, a downtown venue with indoor and outdoor dance floors, plus barbecue, volleyball courts and plenty of grassy space to sprawl out on. A host of Chicago talent will share the decks with Burridge, including Spectral Sound artist Kate Simko, as well as local DJs Mike Khoury, Frederick Zahm and Funk Shui. Athletic wear is encouraged, and considering the party's 12-hour duration, probably necessary.
The event will be followed up by another marathon party this August, also at Moretti's. The headliner (or "MVP") for that one has yet to be announced, but support will come from Mike Khoury, Nate Manic and Hernan Sanchez to name a few.
