Jacques Renault comes to Australia

- New York disco jock Jacques Renault is set to return to Australia, playing three dates this week. Renault, who made his Australian debut last year, cut his musical teeth as a viola-playing Washington DC native. Since moving to New York in 2002, Renault has become one of the city's foremost disco jocks. His production ventures, though not as prominent as his DJ sets, also continue to grab attention, catching the ears of DFA, Italians Do It Better and I'm A Cliché. Adelaide will be the first stop on Renault's tour, which will be getting underway this Thursday at Sugar. Sets in Melbourne and Sydney will follow, playing New Guernica and Civic Underground over the following two nights, respectively.
