Michael Mayer and Joy Orbison headline Eastern Electrics

The London promoters will host their Bank Holiday bash again this year at a secret central location.

Michael Mayer will headline the main arch at Eastern Electrics' forthcoming party.

Taking place in an as yet undisclosed central location on Sunday 29th August, the Eastern Electrics crew have again teamed up with both RA and Mulletover for their regular August Bank Holiday shindig. Mulletover will be hosting a Kompakt showcase in the main arena, and who better to preside over it all than their affable co-founder, Michael Mayer.

Of course, we'll have plenty of surprises in store for our room throughout the evening, but our headliner is the man that scored the best track of '09 accolade in last year's RA Poll. Joy Orbison has quickly blazed a trail within dance music circles, coming out of nowhere with the anthemic future garage of "Hyph Mngo" and continuing his run of good form with follow-up singles on Aus and his own Doldrums imprint. Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird label will also be taking over a room, with Justin Martin being their only confirmed guest so far.

Tickets for Eastern Electrics are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.

Fri, 04 Nov 2011Hey J. Phlip, just stumbled upon this thread as I was reminiscing about Eastern Electrics back in Sept 2010... Pleasantly surprised to find you engaging with RA geeks!

It was a highlight of the night, and also of 3+ years of clubbing in London. Please, please, please swing by London and do a set at a cool night. My friends and I will be there, stat. I know you did... More

Thu, 09 Sep 2010yes apologies if i was a bit over the top ... but we did find the whole thing very disappointing...and this comes from a gang of hardened veterans! maybe it's just a personal thing...but sub standard sound systems coupled with a some dodgy music (at 3 the Kompakt room was very dull...annoyingly) can easily make venues like this a bit vacuous, even if they are rammed! I've just been to some real quality intimate parties this year in london which have really blown my socks off ... EE is at the... More

Thu, 09 Sep 2010You can't compare EE with an intimate party like Lo*Kee.. but it definitely wasn't cold in there and the crowd were actually alright to be fair.
