Of the two in-house nights, the former takes Wednesdays at the Ibizan club, while the latter hosts Fridays.
Nick Curly has been named as resident DJ for Kehakuma's weekly Wednesday sessions at Space, while Wally Lopez reprises his residency for Be on Friday nights.
Kehakuma officially got under way last night and will be holding court at Space every Wednesday until September 29th. There is a distinctly Euro-centric tech house feel to the scheduled line-ups for summer 2010, with Curly being joined by some of the biggest names from across the continent, with a smattering of US names thrown in for good measure. Jamie Jones, Dennis Ferrer, Guy Gerber, Ellen Allien, Cobblestone Jazz, Tiefschwarz and Agoria are among the talent, while Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y., Seth Troxler and Radio Slave will be among those entrusted to bring Kehakuma to a rousing finale at the end of September.
"I'm excited to be a resident DJ and play on the terrace two or three times a month," said Curly on his residency. I will bring lots of new material from my labels Cecille and 8 Bit to the island but for sure also I am going to dig through my old vinyls too."
The second of Space's in-house nights, Be, kicks off on July 2nd, with Steve Bug and Radio Slave headlining. Musically speaking, it'll be house on the terrace and techno in the main room, so we're left to make an educated guess as to where the likes of Francois K, Mathew Jonson, Jerome Sydenham, Len Faki, Tama Sumo, Ben Klock and John Digweed will be spinning. Friday 24th September is the party's final date. François K. Frequency 7 (Ben Sims & Surgeon), Wally Lopez, Pascal FEOS and Oxia are all set to perform.
