Theo Parrish, Scuba, Mount Kimbie and Ben Frost are among the artists confirmed for the Seattle festival.
Almost two months after revealing Carl Craig and Kevin Saunderson as headliners, Decibel have announced the rest of the preliminary lineup for this year's festival in Seattle, with Theo Parrish, Scuba and Ben Frost among the artists confirmed.
As in previous years, the bill presents an eclectic array of house, techno, dubstep and experimental music, with plenty of artists falling somewhere in between. Dinky, Trus'me and Catz N' Dogz will bring the 4/4 beats, joining American jocks Lusine and Luke Hess. On the sub-heavy front, Headhunter, Ikonika and Untold are all scheduled to perform, along with FaltyDL, Starkey and dreamy genre-benders Mount Kimbie. The avant-garde lineup packs a punch as well, with acclaimed guitar experimentalist Fennesz joining Lawrence English and Portland-based drone artist Grouper.
If you're in the Seattle area, Decibel will be throwing a pre-festival party at the end of June at See Sound Lounge. California-based producer John Tejada will headline, supported by local talent Nordic Soul.
