Kontrol turns 5 with Craig Richards

- Swiss live duo Galoppierende Zuversicht will also perform at the San Francisco party's fifth anniversary.
- This weekend marks the fifth anniversary of San Francisco techno party Kontrol, and to celebrate, they've booked fabric resident Craig Richards. Since 2005, Kontrol have been a firm staple of Northern California's small but healthy house and techno scene, thanks to a talented crew of resident DJs and consistently solid booking, which over the years has brought the likes of Dixon, Josh Wink, Thomas Fehlmann and Seth Troxler to Bay Area clubs. In addition to Richards, this weekend's event will feature the duo that helped sell out Kontrol's first party ever: Galoppierende Zuversicht, the Swiss duo that Ricardo Villalobos once deemed the "best live techno act in the world." In addition to Richards, resident DJs Alland Byallo, Craig Kuna, Sammy D and Nikola Baytala and the aforementioned trio of residents will round off the bill.
