Laurent Garnier, Mathew Jonson, Pendulum, The Bug, Busta Rhymes and more are also lined up for the massive desert rave in Spain.
The Monegros Festival is set to hit Spain next month, bringing more than 20 hours of techno, minimal, dubstep, hip hop and more to the Monegros desert between Madrid and Barcelona.
Now in its 16th year, Monegros is a 40,000-person party that's hailed as Spain's biggest rave, and this year's event boasts plenty of DJs who fare particularly well in that kind of setting: Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Adam Beyer, Mathew Jonson, Dave Clarke to name a few, plus a back-to-back session by Marco Carola and Loco Dice. Other highlights include Detroit luminary Jeff Mills, DJ Rush and a slew of subheavy acts like Caspa, Joker and The Bug. Live performances will be in abundance as well, thanks to Laurent Garnier, Buraka Som Sistema, Popof, Technasia and Pendulum, Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 and Busta Rhymes.
The action will take place over one day and night across five different stages. More acts are still expected to be confirmed, so keep an eye on the Monegros site (link below) in the next few weeks leading up to the festival.
