Subject turns three with Troy Pierce

- The Minus man will play his first Irish gig in over a year at the Dublin party's third birthday.
- Troy Pierce has been selected to headline Subject's third birthday celebrations on Saturday 24th July. The Dublin crew have been running regular events in the city since they hosted Rolando at the Tivoli Theatre back in June '07, and have since brought the likes of Prosumer, Moodymann, Magda, Derrick May and Motor City Drum Ensemble over to the city. For this year's anniversary celebrations, they'll be bringing over Richie Hawtin's right hand man, Troy Pierce, who made his Dublin debut last summer. As with last year's gig, the trippy minimalist will be taking to the controls at The Twisted Pepper, this time in the basement rather than the main stage. It might be about bleeps and blips in the darkened basement, but Detroit's Kyle Hall will be on hand to lay down a set of smooth but off-kilter house grooves up on the main stage with more acts to be announced soon.
