  • English producer Ramadanman is scheduled to fly into Melbourne later this year, playing a date in August for local dubstep party Too Much! The last few years have seen Ramadanman rise through the dubstep ranks to become one of the genre's biggest names. Like many of his UK contemporaries, Ramadanman cut his teeth as a producer in his teens. After initial forays into hip-hop and grime, 2006 saw him attend one of Mala's famed FWD>> parties, and his love affair with dubstep began. The following year, Ramadanman co-founded Hessle Audio, which has gone on to host an array of bass-heavy releases, ranging from experimental dubstep to more traditional drum & bass. Melbourne's Too Much! Crew will be hosting Ramadanman at Mercat Cross when he hits Melbourne in August. Sydney-based producer Mark Pritchard will be heading up the support cast with a rare Melbourne gig under his Harmonic 313 guise.
