- The small bar has opened on Surry Hills' Wentworth Ave.
Tone, a new Sydney venue, has recently launched just outside the CBD.
The venue is the latest in Sydney's steadily growing small bar revival. Having once been known as Mars Lounge and a one-time textile factory, Tone is located on Wentworth Ave in Surry Hills, and, after extensive renovations has retained distinct warehouse vibe. While the venue will primarily cater to DJs, a stage for live bands has also been installed. As far as the music policy goes, the guests lined up for July should give you some of an idea: Jimi Polar, Simon Caldwell, and Picnic's Carly Roberts have all been booked to spin records throughout this month.
