  • New Zealand-based producer Frank Booker will be heading to Sydney shortly, playing a three-hour set for People Must Jam. Those who have followed the NZ's electronic music scene would be well aware of the Hit It & Quit It crew, of which Booker is a part of alongside Detroit native and fellow NZ resident Recloose. Over the last few years they've made a name for themselves on the back of their far reaching radio show, spinning everything from deep house to hip-hop. As a DJ, Booker's style is rather eclectic. An avid crate digger, he's never too shy about throwing in some obscure '70s disco in to his typically groove-heavy sets, along with doses of more upfront house. On the production front he's been quiet of late, but spent much of 2009 in the lab producing two EPs for UK disco label Untracked. Booker will be heading to Sydney next weekend, playing a date at Civic Underground on August 7th. Advance tickets to the party are available right here at RA Tickets.
