- The Irish cosmic duo will release their first album next month.
Solar Bears, a duo consisting of Irish producers John Kowalski and Rian Trench, will release their first album next month on London's Planet Mu.
Entitled She Was Coloured In, Solar Bears' first full-length betrays a love of all things keyboard-related from the '70s and '80s, especially prog, Kosmische and synth pop. Their sound is retro and tinged with psychedelia, as suggested by titles like "Neon Colony" and "Primary Colours at the Back of My Mind." She Was Coloured In will be preceded by an EP called Inner Sunshine, due for release next week.
