- Mike Huckaby will embark on a European tour during October. What to expect of a Mike Huckaby DJ set? Well, if our Machine Love feature with him last week is anything to go by, you'll get the length and breadth of deep house and techno—aside from his gig in Berlin October 14th. Huckaby will present a special Sun Ra classics set at Farbfernseher, and will also be playing an edits portion of the night from a reel-to-reel. He'll be joined on the night by local artist Pole who'll be bringing along his 45s for a reggae set. The tour will, however, begin this Friday night (October 8th) at Masters in the Croatian city of Zagreb. The following weekend, Huckaby will travel to Amsterdam for a set at Trouw on the Friday then fly to St. Petersburg in Russia the following night to spin at Griboedov Club. Rounding out the month, Huckaby will again play Berlin—Wednesday, October 20th at Tresor—before heading to the Polish city of Krakow on the Friday for Unsound festival. And London will be his final destination of the tour come October 29th: Huckaby will travel to the English capital to help Plex celebrate their 4th birthday alongside I-F and Al Tourettes.
