- The clubbing institution's next compilation rounds up tracks by Plastikman, Adam Beyer and Kenny Larkin and others.
For the seventh edition of their Underground compilation series, Ministry Of Sound have whipped up a compilation of big room techno bangers, due for release early next month.
Despite its title, The Underground 2010 Techno presents a healthy mix of new and old techno tracks, with fresh cuts by Adam Beyer and Tony Lionni alongside old standbys like Plastikman's "Spastik" and The Black Dog's "Virtual." The collection pays homage to Detroit as well, with selections by Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin and new school producers like Seth Troxler and Matthew Dear. Marco Carola and Loco Dice bring a bit of minimal house flavor, while Chris Liebing provides the monolithic CLR sound. The two-disc mix will mark MoS's first compilation devoted specifically to techno.
