The legendary selector will look back the years 1979 - 1984 at Palabam in Mantova this Saturday.
Cosmic disco pioneer Daniele Baldelli is set to spin at Palabam in Mantova this Saturday, September 18th.
Widely understood to be one of Italy's first—if not the first—DJs, to say Daniele Baldelli was a legend would be something of an understatement. Baldelli has been spinning records since back in 1969 and was discovering methods of blending tracks together before pre-monitoring and pitch control were even invented. He is also credited for championing a pitched down, psychedelic brew of funk, jazz and electro that would later come to be known as cosmic disco. The sound will be explored once again by Baldelli this Saturday evening at Palabam in Mantova in relation to the years 1979 - 1984.
Meanwhile the following weekend in Brescia, fellow cosmic pioneer Beppe Loda is the headlining guest at the city's Le Plaisir Club, although there is still an unknown headliner TBC. Also appearing on the night will be Giovanni Turiaco, Daniele Les Cigales and Dax DJ.
