Permanent Vacation comes to BeCool

- Tensnake and the Permanent Vacation DJs will headline the Barcelona venue this Saturday evening.
- Saturday, September 18th will see Munich label Permanent Vacation take over Barcelona's BeCool for their first label showcase in the city. Started back in 2006 to push a disco-infused take on contemporary house and pop music, the imprint headed up by Benjamin Frohlich and Tom Bioly has risen to become one of the key players in its field. Artists such as Kathy Diamond, Sally Shapiro, Dolle Jolle, azariiii" data-artist-news-link="true">Azari & III and Tensnake have all found a home with the imprint, and the latter will be in attendance as Permanent Vacation set-up for their debut label showcase in Barcelona. Although Defected went on to give it a full release, Tensnake's "Comma Cat"—undoubtedly one of this year's biggest and most played tracks—initially saw its release through Permanent Vacation, and you can bet the artist, real name Marco Niemerski, will be giving it an airing come Saturday evening during his live show. Frohlich and Bioly will also be playing a DJ set under the Permanent Vacation name, while support comes from Spanish selector DJohnston.
