Sven Vath, Dixon and Derrick May have also been billed for the festival in Italy this fall.
Movement Torino have announced the first wave of names for their 2010 event, set to take place at various venues across Halloween weekend.
Now in its fifth year, Movement Torino is Europe's answer to the festival of the same name in Detroit, and is produced in part by DJ and producer Derrick May. Fittingly, the bill presents a mixture of European and Detroit-based artists, with Sven Vath, Ellen Allien and Karotte billed alongside Kyle Hall, Patrice Scott and Anthony 'Shake' Shakir. Some bigger names will be on offer as well, thanks to 2 Many DJs and The Chemical Brothers, the latter of whom will eschew their usual live act for a DJ set. Venues for the festival have yet to be announced, but the 12,000 capacity PalaOlimpico Park has been confirmed for the festival's finale on Halloween night. RA will be hosting a stage as well, featuring Dixon, Motor City Drum Ensemble and a slew of other artists who've yet to be announced.
In celebration of their fifth anniversary, Movement Torino have also put together their first official compilation. The package comprises three discs: two CDs featuring unmixed tracks by artists that have graced the festival's decks over the past five years, plus a CD-R with more tracks as well as a two-and-a-half hour mix by Torino-based jock I-Robots. The collection will see release on October 30th to coincide with the festival itself.
If you're in Torino this weekend and can't wait until next month, Movement have a pre-party lined up at Jam Club to help tide you over. Romanian house maven Raresh will headline, joined by local jocks Lollino and Andrea Appolloni.
