DJ and producer Butch is set to release his second album next month, entitled Eyes Wide Open.

The record will cap off a banner year for Butch, in part because it will mark his 11th release of 2010. Among those other ten records is "No Worries," a tech house bomb that was endlessly caned at clubs and festivals last summer and ended up topping RA's monthly charts in July, helping push Butch to his current spot as our most charted artist overall. On his second artist album to date, the Mainz-based artist delivers the high-energy club vibe he's known for, but also shows a more reflective side, at one point manipulating sound bytes of George Bush and later noodling delicately on an acoustic guitar. The album consists of entirely new material, and will see release through bouq., the label Butch runs with fellow Mainz-based artist Amir. The CD version comes packaged with a bonus mix CD.
