Claude VonStroke headlines Bar Soma New Year's Eve

- Claude VonStroke – AKA Barclay Crenshaw – is set to return to Australia later this year, heading up Bar Soma's New Year's Eve celebrations. Crenshaw is a regular visitor to Australian shores. Each visit, however, sees the San Francisco-based artist primarily spinning for festival crowds, so Brisbane fans will be getting a rare chance to catch the producer spinning in a club setting in their hometown. Since his last time in the country, Crenshaw has been rather busy, particularly on the label front. Shortly after departing the 2009 Parklife tour, he released his second full-length artist album, Bird Brain, via his own Dirtybird imprint. The momentum hasn't subsided, having dropped a number of well-received singles and a standout compilation throughout 2010. So far, no other club dates for Crenshaw have been announced. He will, however, be spinning at each leg of the touring Summadayze festival, which kicks off on New Year's Day.
