- This week's show will feature interviews and four mixes from the Berlin label.
A week after their two-day CD-release bash at Berghain, Ostgut Ton will be the focus of BBC Radio 1's Rob Da Bank tomorrow morning.
"When I found out that Ostgut Ton were celebrating their birthday with such an innovative compilation and esteemed line up we knew we had to get some of it on the radio," says Rob Da Bank. The show will feature interviews with label manager Nick Hoppner, Marcel Dettmann, Ryan Elliott and Emika, the artist who collected the field recordings used on the Funf compilation. There will also be an hour of material recorded live at the release party last weekend, including excerpts of DJ sets from Dettmann, Hoppner and Murat Tapeli, plus a clip from Barker & Baumecker's first ever live set. The show will air in the UK at the usual time from 5:00am-7:00am (and again on Monday), and can be streamed around the world via BBC Radio 1's official website.
